If a friend offers you a compliment and in the same conversation offers you a criticism, then it’s part of being human to remember the criticism but not the compliment. In the world we tend to focus on what doesn’t work rather than what does work. It’s part of human nature to sweep away and take for granted the positives we receive about ourself.
The research tells us that there’s much more to be gained performance-wise by focusing on our strengths rather than on the remedial stuff. Via a quick, highly validated questionnaire we invite participants to think about how to use our innate strengths more at work
