When: Friday 22nd May
Will is an ex professional rugby player for Saracens RFC. Will joined the Saracens Academy in 2005 aged just 14 and was a member of the famed ‘Class of ’08’ alongside the likes of Owen Farrell & Jamie George. He went on to be a part of the team during the historic 2015/16 European & Premiership Double. After a 10 year playing career unfortunately he was forced to retire from playing in 2017 following a neck injury. Post his rugby career, Will founded 100 & First, a people & culture consultancy that uses the power of incredible real-life experiences to drive change.
He says he can’t choose a favourite restaurant, he loves food too much to have just one!
Through the lens of professional sports, an understanding of high performing teams and managing change.
Using sport as the gateway in, we take a deep dive into where high performance finds itself, how it manifests, and therefore how we drive it. We explore the myths and assumptions that drive our decision making when it comes to building teams and people dynamics, ultimately showing the advantages of team stability, shared units of experience and the power of connection.
