GMs, Head Chefs, Team Leaders & Multisite Operators
Holding powerful sessions with your team will help you tap into an extra level of performance, but if they’re not delivered skillfully, better not to have one at all.
Managers meetings are an essential part of running a restaurant business, they keep you focused on results, help you delegate, create accountability and keep things moving forward.
But there isn’t one type of meeting you need to deliver when you’re managing the long term performance of a team. This workshop uses Tannenbaum & Schmidts “Leadership Contiuum” model to identify WHAT type of meeting you are holding; WHEN you should hold it; WHERE it takes place, and crucially HOW it’s delivered.
If you want your team to bring ideas, then what thinking should they have done already to prepare? If the meeting is about passing on some information does it need a pre-read? Who’s taking ultimate responsibility for any decisions made, you or the team?
The answers to those questions will dictate how you should set-up the session. Muddling your way through without planning properly will destroy your chance of landing any impact.
